TIPS FOR HOME LEARNING
To support your student with home learning, consider the following tips:
KEEPING IN THE LOOP
With online home learning, staying connected with student learning remains critical. Parent involvement takes many forms. Whether it’s checking homework, setting up a schedule, your engagement makes a difference. Be sure to create a Canvas observer account so that you keep in the loop with your students, their teachers. By knowing what’s happening in the classroom, you can help your student to focus on coursework to ensure college and career readiness. HOME LEARNING GUIDES

SUPPORTING YOUR FAMILY'S NEEDS
These are difficult and uncertain times for parents and children. The needs of your family will dictate what is manageable. If you or your child are feeling overwhelmed with online learning or your circumstance does not allow for the time needed to participate and complete online learning, reach out to your child’s teacher or counselor and discuss ideas for managing the learning load or a plan for prioritizing skills. |
